Sensorial Management Group takes its social responsibilities seriously.

The areas and its communities that welcome us, and allow us to flourish, are never taken for granted. We feel it is essential for the good of our company and our employees to always give back to the communities in which we operate. This simply means we aim to work without single use plastic, implement energy saving initiatives in our venues and source sustainable and organic food and beverage products where possible.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an extension of our company’s purpose and values and we allocate a substantial budget to investing in the greater good for the community. One of our key initiatives is to guide and counsel our community who would like to have assistance with their micro start-ups. May it be a fruit stall or selling homemade face masks online from their homes; our People & Culture, Communication & Events and Accounting Chiefs are ready to provide free of charge advise.

As SMG Indonesia is strengthening its business in food & beverage management, starting on April 2023, SMG has taken a significant step towards reducing food waste by partnering with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Bali , an NGO founded in 2016, with an initiative to reduce food waste by collecting food stocks, leftover foods that suitable for human consumption, nutritional goods to help people in need.

This initiative not only helps to reduce food waste but also addresses the issue of food insecurity in Bali. By partnering with SOS Bali, SMG Indonesia is demonstrating its commitment to reducing food waste and supporting the local community.

This partnership also aligns with SMG Indonesia’s CSR strategy, which emphasizes giving back to the community. The company recognizes its role in society and aims to positively impact it by reducing environmental problems and supporting social causes.
